Who do you work with?
Adults of all ages and fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced lifters. Most clients come to me to lose weight, get stronger, build confidence in the gym or return to training after injury or time off.
Do I need to be fit already?
No. Every programme starts from where you are and is scaled to your level, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced lifter.
What happens at the consultation?
We talk through your goals, health, lifestyle and training history, then complete a movement and posture assessment. From there I build your programme and we agree the right package for you.
How do I book?
Book a consultation through the contact page, call 07588 963005 or email sweat@thebodyhacker.co.uk. Please complete the health and lifestyle questionnaire on the contact page and bring it to your consultation.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable training clothes, trainers and a bottle of water. Everything else is provided at the studio.
What is included in personal training?
Private 60-minute 1:1 sessions, a bespoke training programme, nutrition guidance, a goal map, weekly accountability and regular reassessments to track your progress.
How long is a session?
Every 1:1 personal training session is 60 minutes.
How often should I train?
Most clients train two to three times a week. The monthly package includes 12 sessions, and the 30-day intensive includes 24 sessions for faster results. We agree the right frequency at your consultation.
Can you help if I have an injury or health condition?
Often, yes. You complete a health and lifestyle questionnaire before you start, and the programme is built around any conditions or injuries. Where needed, I work alongside your GP or physio. It is your responsibility to tell me about any medical conditions or changes to your health.
Is personal training suitable if I’m over 40?
Yes. Training for strength, mobility and energy becomes more important with age, and every programme is scaled to your body, history and goals.
What is semi-private personal training?
It’s personal training in a small group of up to 9 people. You get coached on every exercise and follow a plan built around your goals, with the motivation of training alongside others and a lower cost than 1:1 sessions.
When are the group training sessions?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 06:00 to 06:45, at the private studio at Shottery Brook, Stratford-upon-Avon.
How much does group training cost?
£89 per month for two sessions a week, or £120 per month for all three sessions.
Is group training suitable for beginners?
Yes. Every exercise is coached and scaled to your level, so it’s a safe way to lose weight and get fit whether you’re starting from scratch or returning after time off.
Should I choose personal training or group training?
1:1 personal training is the fastest and most personal route, with a fully bespoke plan and my full attention. Group training is a lower-cost option with goal setting, accountability and nutrition support included. We can decide together at your consultation.
How much weight can I lose?
It depends on your starting point, health and commitment. My clients have lost over 1,000 kg between them, from a stone or two up to 11 stone for one client. We set a realistic, healthy target at your consultation.
Do I have to follow a strict diet?
No. You get simple, sustainable nutrition habits that fit your life, including family meals and eating out. No crash diets and no banned food lists.
Do you help with nutrition?
Yes. Every client has a full health, nutrition and lifestyle assessment, and nutrition guidance is part of the coaching for both personal training and group training.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients feel stronger and more energetic within the first few weeks, with visible changes over the first two to three months. Individual results vary with your starting point and commitment.
How much does personal training cost?
A single 60-minute private session is £55. Packages bring the cost down: £600 a month for 12 sessions, £1,080 for a 30-day intensive of 24 sessions, £3,420 for 6 months or £6,480 for 12 months.
How do I pay?
All packages are payable in advance. Not sure which to choose? We’ll decide together at your consultation.
What is your cancellation policy?
48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or move a session, otherwise the session is forfeited. All sessions must be used within the package time frame.
Can I cancel a package?
If you cancel a block of pre-booked sessions, a 30% cancellation charge applies to cover the time spent developing and planning your programme. In the unlikely event that I am unable to continue your training, you will receive a full refund for any unused sessions.
Do you offer gift certificates?
